About

Our History

Countrified Creations started as a simple wood sign crafting business back in 2018 when two long-time friends, Rachel and Taylar, decided to put their love for creating into a career! The small business started out as Countrified Wood Shop and consisted of several wood sign designs that you can view in the Products Page. Starting in 2021, they made the choice to expand their shop to include various products such as more home decor, party invitations, party decorations, apparel, and more while still creating wood signs.

In 2022, they began the process of changing their business name to Countrified Creations, redesigning the logo, creating the website, starting the Etsy shop called Countrified Design Art, and more to include the multiple aspects into one business. This also included Rachel’s photography small business that is now called Countrified Captures. In May 2023, the business officially became Countrified Creations, LLC. Stay tuned for more products and even services to come!!

About Rachel

Rachel has a great love for creating wood signs, capturing photographs, and planning parties. She loves creating an idea and making it come to life. She can frequently be found with either a camera/phone taking pictures or sketchpad or iPad drafting ideas. As a young girl, she would design and draw floor plans for homes and became passionate about photography when she received her first point and shoot camera.

Rachel is married to her high school sweetheart and they have an energetic and adventurous five year old son. They enjoy homeschooling, camping, traveling, and going on various adventures together.

Rachel went to Ball State University and received a degree in Family Consumer Sciences with a minor in Interior Design. As well as interior design, she took classes in photography, early childhood development, hospitality and food management, and several others. All of these gave Rachel experience in editing images, designing many different products both digitally and with physical materials, event planning, and early development and milestones for children.
